Clara Nyirongo (Mrs Chitheka) is an upcoming talented Gospel Artist whose outstanding performance has positioned her amongst the best gospel artists in South Africa where she stayed for 17years.
Clara Nyirongo was born on 12 February 1978. Her home village is Sopani,T/A Mnyanja, Kasungu.She is a fourth born in family of 9 for Mr Gershom Nyirongo and Emmie Nyirongo.She is currently staying in Lilongwe Area 49 New Shire but soon she will relocate to Canada following her husband.
She has worked with different artist and backed different artist as well.She backed soldier Lucious Banda on Mphawi uja track in RSA down town studio, She has worked with rasta wazza, Chrissy kamthuzi, Evans Mereka and Nyaradzai Chitheka.She is a holder of Diploma in IT (Programming) graduated in RSA Boston Business Institute and Diploma in Office administration graduated in RSA Falcon business Institute. She is a mother of 2girls
Her aspiration to become a musician dates back to her early years when she was six years old. At that age, she enjoyed singing at home as well as for friends at school. They all admired her talent. She was further motivated when she and her other school mates at High School formed a choir. She was the lead vocalist of the school choir and performed to a very large audience in the school hall. This for Clara marked the beginning of the long journey into the music industry. She is thrilled to be in the music industry especially gospel. Throughout her life, she has been singing in many church choirs especially the Main Choir at Berea CCAP BT Synod Church in Johannesburg. She has been the lead vocalist of this choir for nine years. This choir has been the back bone of her road to success. She is now engaged in her own major music projects but still forms part of the Main Choir. So far Clara got CD & DVD in her first album Ana~amasiye which was released in RSA 2011 & 2016 Clara released her vol2 Nkhoswe~Yesu now busy with Nkhoswe~Yesu DVD project
